Our pen stand is made with a wooden top ring to hold your pens and pencils securely along with a lower wooden base that includes a cork landing for your stationery. The pen stand is tied together with a thick powder coated steel frame to make sure our stands last a lifetime. We use screws to hold everything together and add a cork base for grip which also protects your desk surface from unsightly scratches.
Sustainability in Mind
Like all our products we make our pen holders in small batches with minimal waste. We use Oak wood grown in Canada while the cork we use is sourced from Portugal with sustainable harvesting so the cork is harvested without killing the tree. Read more about us.

Wooden pen holders don’t need any special care, aside from the normal care you would take for the wood itself. Wood doesn’t like to be wet constantly and direct sunlight can start changing its tone a bit but aside from that wood pen holders can handle all the use and abuse you throw at them.
Wooden pen stands are a higher-end option than normal plastic or glass pen holders. Our wooden pen holders are also heavier due to the wood and steel construction, making them last a lifetime and be much harder to knock over.
We have two different wood stains available, natural and walnut. We do not offer other customizations aside from being able to send unfinished pen stands that you can stain as you prefer. If you’d like an unfinished pen stand so you can stain to your liking, we just need a note at checkout.
Our pen holders are designed to be minimal and hold 4-6 pens comfortably, depending on the size of your pens and pencils. Due to the smaller size, our holders also work great for single pens and pencils.
